Is it possible to talk and surf on Verizon's iPhone?
Verizon's version is CDMA. The CDMA standard doesn't split data and voice into separate channels. With the first generation of Verizon iPhone, you can't talk and surf the Web at the same time. Actually many people absolutely need this function on their phone. So you'd better stick with AT&T to do that.
Actually, not for the moment. Maybe some jailbreaking tweak come out and let you do that on Verizon iPhone.
Why am I seeing this everywhere? Is my iPhone some glitch in the system? I triple-checked to be sure I wasn't connected to a WiFi network, then tested this, and had NO trouble at all talking/surfing.
